Refund Policy

The short version

The Seasoned E-Book ($14.99) is a digital product that you can download right after payment, so we cannot take it back once you have it. We will refund you in full if something went wrong on our side or with the payment, and we ask that you tell us within 14 days of your purchase.

When we will refund you

• The file will not download or open, and we are unable to fix it for you after you contact us. We will first send you a fresh copy, so most problems are solved without a refund.
• You received the wrong file or an incomplete copy of the E-Book.
• You were charged more than once for the same purchase, or charged by mistake.

When we cannot refund

• You changed your mind after downloading the E-Book.
• A recipe did not turn out the way you hoped. Results vary with equipment, ingredients and technique, and we cannot guarantee a particular result in your kitchen. See the Disclaimer.
• You already have the recipe on this site. The E-Book collects the published recipes and adds more, as described on the E-Book page before you buy.
• Requests made more than 14 days after purchase, unless there was a technical problem we were not able to fix.

How to ask for a refund or help

Email [email protected] with the email address on your Stripe receipt, the date of your purchase, and a short note about what happened. Please do not send card numbers or other sensitive information. We reply within a few business days.

Approved refunds go back to the original payment method through Stripe. Your bank or card issuer controls how long it takes to appear, which is commonly 5 to 10 business days.

Before you dispute a charge

Please write to us first. We would rather fix the problem or refund you directly, and it is usually faster than a card dispute.

The recipes on this site and the free Kitchen Starter Checklist cost nothing. If you would like a sense of the writing before you buy, start there.

Your legal rights

This policy does not limit any rights you may have under the consumer laws where you live.
